AIM is a Private Trust establised on 17th September 1987 via the AIM Deed of Trust, and registered under 1954 Trustees Act (Incorporation) (amendment 1981) Act 258. The establishment of AIM is Supported by University Sains Malaysia, Islamic Economic Development Foundation of Malaysia (YaPEIM), the State Government of Selangor and the Asia Pacific Development Centre.
AIM was established with the objective of reducing poverty in Malaysia through the disbursement of Ikhtiar Funds to poor households in the rural areas, to finance income generating activities. |
